Cheessy chichen taco dip for dinner. Smells amazing. Tastes a bit like taco bells chicken quesadillias but cheesier and of course i go to taste it and asher says nope.
Okay. it's a crock pot meal but I'm sure you can make it in the oven too. you can adjust the amount based on your family size too. mine is:
4 med-lg boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 16oz jar of salsa of your heat preference
1can of refried beans
8oz of cream cheese
1 block of Velveeta cheese
1 pk of taco seasoning.
cook the chicken breasts in the salsa over night on low. Shred the next morning and it should be very very easy to do. add the beans, cream cheese, and Velveeta. stir until the beans are stirred in well. let cheeses melt for about an hour to an hour and a half and stir. if it's still not melted completely continue to let cook and melt. once melted stir in taco seasoning and let cook for about an hour more. then you can either serve or cut down to keep warm. I cook mine on low all the way through.
Lol I'm sorry. @allyk.xmommy I usually don't care for taco bell unless I'm pregnant so this really hit the spot but then my son's like nope mama can't have this he wants something else.
