I'm a nurse. I actually do know how vaccines work, and I have studied research on them because I care. Actually, there is, but you choose not to believe it based on your view that a cover up has taken place for every single vaccine. Anything can become unsafe if say, it's used incorrectly, or in the case of vaccines, an abnormal reaction occurs, making it unsafe to that individual. So @jgarciamua please, enough with the fear mongering. Just own it that this is your opinion. Likewise it is my opinion that they ARE safe, based on years of continued research that is scientifically sound. All I did was give her a link to more info. You could do the same since you believe so fervently.

Btw @jgarciamua aluminum is found in HIGHER doses in a newborn's blood at BIRTH than there is in a single vaccine. A baby also consumes MORE aluminum from BREASTMILK in the first 6 months of life than all the vaccines they recieved in the same amount of time. These are trace amounts and all studies have shown there is no adverse reactions from the trace amounts found in vaccines. I have done my research thanks, try again!

In normal circumstances we would be friends @jgarciamua, we have similar parenting styles and both believe in breastfeeding, attachment parenting and baby led weaning etc. On this, obviously we disagree and that's fine. But you don't have to be ugly. I'm done here, I have said my peace. And to add to that I would like to say your last comment is rude. I do care. I have asthma, and I also have anxiety, depression, and many other health issues, but to blame it all on vaccines is ignorant. There are infinit causes to ALL these things, and there is no way of telling what exactly caused it. I grew up in Long Beach where our city was deemed the WORST for air quality and smog, so we always assumed my brother and I got asthma from that, but that too is only a theory. I enjoy sharing information with you from time to time and our interactions, don't ruin this by attacking me over a difference in opinion.

Ill give you an example. There is a difference between using a damn deodorant with aluminum and injecting a vaccine that contains aluminum. Please keep resarching!!! @hellosweetie

Just a side note, adverse reactions dont occur right away. Just because you feel fine doesnt meant you are fine. Did you know some reactions are now seen as "normal"? For example: asthma, food allergies, ADHD, skin conditions, ear infections and so on. Perhaps you dont have any of that so you dont care. @hellosweetie

Literally EVERY medication we take or give to our babies has warning labels with adverse reactions on them and literally EVERY medication also has the chance of HAVING these reactions and causing injury or death, so that argument is ridiculous. So if you are avoiding vaccines because of the miniscule chance of adverse reactions (even if the effects are really bad), does that mean you will avoid every other medication for the rest of your and your baby's life in order to avoid adverse reactions from those meds as well?? I highly doubt it. The benefits outweigh the risks. Tell me, when you were in labor, did you take any kind of medication AT ALL? Did you research the adverse reactions and risks to those medications? Because ALL medical interventions during labor can lead to complications and even death for mother AND baby. But I bet you still used them, didn't you? I am using this as an example, you may have had an all natural birth like me. That's not my point. Anyways, as you said I can't change your mind and I don't plan to, what I am trying to do is stop the ugly ranting and help spread information, just like you.

I would love to see the research but its all a lie and cover up! Why? Because doctors get paid by the big pharma company thats why they say vaccines are "safe" but they are not. The vaccines inserts CLEARLY STATE the adverse reactions. YES, not all kids get those adverse reactions but I PERSONALLY wont risk it. Answer me this, why cant you sue the CDC? Why are there babies who die due to vaccine injuries??????? Im not gonna argue because you clearly wont accept it. We could go on and on but nothing will change my mind or yours. Im just here to help @daylenerebecca with some education thats it and im pretty sure she did her own research

@jgarciamua, with all due respect, there is PLENTY of research and facts out there that prove thar vaccines are safe for MOST infants and children. Again, no offense but you are not a scientist. Neither am I, but these vaccines have been studied and used for longer than you or I have been alive and the MAJORITY of infants and children that recieve these vaccines do not have any adverse reactions to said vaccines. So please, just agree to disagree and let the mom do her own research with the links provided, without fear mongering or telling her that it is a fact they are bad, when it isn't. It is a fact that the majority of society has had vaccines, I'm sure even YOU were vaccinated as a child and we all turned out fine. Statistics is what you look at with things like this, and the statistics back up our claims that vaccinating is worth it. Again, just my two cents.

Its not my opinion. Its a fact. Have you talked to mothers who have vaccine injured children? Bc i have. Tell me how injecting a child with aborted fetal cells is safe? There is NO research that vaccines are safe. @mommagotbump16

@jgarciamua, it is your opinion that vaccines are not safe. The reason she feels this way is likely because she wants to make the best decision for her child, not because she is realizing "the truth."

Read up I did a lot of research before I made my decision to vaccinate it's important to me that my daughter has the best chance in this world and I believe that I give it to her by vaccinating.

I highly suggest looking into BOTH sides, not just the antivaxing side. There is a reason that so many in third world countries would do ANYTHING for the vaccinations that are so readily available to us here in the States. Because they work, and because those families would give anything to have a family member back or heal a sick one or prevent their own children from getting sick. There is also a reason why in America things like Polio are basically exstinct. Yes, there are chemicals in vaccines. There are just as many of those SAME chemicals in our own FOOD that are in higher doses than the vaccine, believe it or not. Personally I chose to vaccinate not only because I do not want to home school my kid (many States have passed laws saying unvaxxed children cannot attend public schools), and I do not want to risk her being exposed and catching one of those diseases that can so easily be prevented. I myself have had 3 sets of major vaccines as a child because my mother screwed up my immunization records and I am living proof that they don't do more damage than anything else we ingest on a daily basis. If you feel that strongly that you can keep your child safe without the use of vaccines by all means, disregard what I am saying, but please don't make that choice based solely on some comments here. Do some research, read the ingredients online and actually look up each and every one of those ingredients and what they do and (this is the important part) what levels of those ingredients have to be in to actually be dangerous. Did you know that the rice cereal most of these moms on preggie feed their babies contains arsenic?? That's right, poison. But did you also know that the amount that rice contains isn't harmful to babies or adults, and we have all been consuming it all our lives every time we eat rice and other grains? We also consume mercury every time we eat fish. Some fish has lower levels and that's why pregnant women are advised to eat only these types of fish that contain lower levels of mercury. Just saying, not looking for an argument but I am not seeing any good defense from the pro-vaccination side here and thought I'd add my two cents in...

There's only the rotavirus vaccine that's oral. All others are injections, sorry.
