Keep it up don't let others ignorance to the benefits of breastfeeding sway you! I lasted about 13 months wish longer but baby basically weaned herself from it

I've been breastfeeding for 10 months now, and my goal is 2 years. I have family saying "I would've weaned by now" or other *pearls of wisdom* 😒 like that, but there are just so many benefits.... I'm at the temper tantrums stage already, and I see even more benefits to it than I could have imagined. there will ALWAYS be people telling you you're wrong just because you don't live identical to them, but you are your own person who makes her own choices! --- btw, my sister and I are the ONLY pro-breastfeeders in the family. everyone else is strictly formula (or formula with rice cereal as my mom always tried to push on me)

almost 3 months in so far. I pump also bc I have to work so my mil and my mom watch him while me and hubby are at work and they feed him bottles of my milk. he's never had s drop of any other than my milk. we didn't start a paci until he was 4 weeks and he doesn't really care for it bc he learned to self soothe when he's upset. or I comfort nurse him. everyone has their own opinion about it but I think its awesome. formula is expensive and breast milk is free. that alone is a huge win. my whole family supports it so it makes it easier but even if they didn't it wouldn't change my mind. I love the bond I have built with my son thru breast feeding and I plan to go til he's at least 1. hopefully longer but my goal is one year minimum

breastfeeding is the best thing for your baby. it has way more nutrients than formula . don't let people tell you negative stuff about breastfeeding, you're doing fine 😀
