How can you tell if baby is drinking/eating anything??? Is there a way??

you can hear them gulping but as long as baby is making the sucking movement with their mouth they should be getting milk.sometimes i saw milk in the corners of my son's mouth. I'm assuming you meant on the breast.

You won't hear them sucking yet, if you do then the latch is bad because it's just colostrum ( once the milk comes in you hear the gulping) so it's not much but it's enough for baby , but you go by how many times they have peed and pooped

Look at there mouth/jaw they'll take long gulps, when there just comfort sucking it will look like there chewing gum short movements of their mouth
