Moms,
Doesn't it seem like once you're a mom (or pregnant), you can't help but be late. You have to pack your diaper bag, dress the baby, find your keys and... Wait are you dressed too? Or is it sweatpants and a dirty T-shirt again?
We want to create a funny but truthful blog post about the real reasons moms are always late. Please add your replies in the comments below.
Thank you!

I'm never late due to my child it's always my boyfriend that causes me to be late
Ugh. Story of my life! Lol. Trying to get a 3 y/o and 1 y/o ready plus myself get all their stuff ready change the kids again because they decided to make a huge mess get everyone and everything packed into the car just to see their dad sleeping and not ready :/ a swift kick in the a$$ and hes finally ready and wondering why im irritated. Lol
Forget the babies, I can't even get my husband out on time. Smh. I give up.
Having everything ready (bottles diaper bags etc.) get the baby dressed and in the car seat only to find out the baby had a blow out so you unload and change her but then she wants to eat again lol
it takes me 3 or 4 hours to get myself, my husband, and my 1year old son and 4 year old son ready to go anywhere. I'm always losing the diaper rash cream or the wipes. So lately I have decided to preplan. If we are going anywhere I now have everything in 1 spot at all times (other than the sippy cups which are always in the cabinet) hoping this will make everything easier and take up less time.
Definitely Ive learned how to plan ahead if my (their) appointments are at 4 pm Im leaving at 230 kids packed at 1
I always wake up 3 hours before we have to leave to go anywhere. I get all of my daughters toys, diapers, food, etc. packed in her bags for whatever the occasion. On a regular basis my daughter is up by 6am for her first meal, but ANYTIME we really have to be someone she sleeps in! It throws everything off! I never dare wake a sleeping baby... Thats why I'm ALWAYS atleast an hour late
I called my boss this morning to tell him I would be about 5 minutes late for work because my son was attached to my boob.
I seem to always be late because when I am finally walking out the door, my son poops and I got to walk in and change him AGAIN. 😂💩
I have to pack two diaper bags (one with cloths and diapers wipes and her meds, and then one that has her formula bottles and water (I will only use bottled water)) and then get her dressed, get my purse ready (I unpack my purse every night because everything I put in my purse I use all throughout the day) and then get myself dressed and out the door
I have to get my 4 yr old dressed she is the hardest to get dressed all while screaming thru the house for my oldest to put her phone down and put on clothes or put her bow in her hair. still chasing my 1yr son around the house trying to get him dressed grab luchables for everybody only to turn and and find my 4yt old has taken off all her clothes because "she got bored " gettuher dress in the speed of light getting everybody ready not for get his cups and her thermal mug. to get in the car and my oldest say mommy I forgot to grab our phones.
It seems like no matter how early I try to get us ready , we're always late ! Mostly I get MJ dressed first and she's fine but ,when it's my turn she s gets fussy and that's time added. #MomLife
There is something about being in the car seat that makes my baby spit up. Every single time. Bibs are a necessity or we're back inside to change. One time we left early for a birthday party to run errands and I was feeling very accomplished. I guess my baby knew that things were going too well; so as I was changing him, he pooped all over the car, himself and the baby carrier. I'd rather be late!!
You get everyone dressed and out the door and pick up your son to put him in the car and he has had a blow out diaper and it's not always pee. lol
My dog always gets diarrhea for some reason every time I get ready to leave the house...without her, I have to figure out Ezra's meals for the day, heat that up, cut it up, pack in thermos, make sure there's enough milk and bottles, pacifiers, diapers, etc in the diaper bag, feed him before we leave, change his diaper, pack extra clothes, bibs, put stroller into the trunk, get his lovey, extra toys so he's busy while I'm out, snacks, water, his sippy cup, and blankets in case it's cold, then remember I haven't eaten, so I shove some toast and whatever I can find into my mouth, look for keys, find my wallet, bottle of water, put dog into kennel, ugh so much more, but I'm tired of writing. 😲😭
baby almost always poops right when we get in the car or right when were at the front door..dosent matter what tine of the day it is..and when ever he poops..withing a minute its all over his back
Baby always spits up right before we leave then I have to change her completely.
I have to get dressed first, get two girls hair done, amd getting dressed is last minute. If you my kids dressed they're ready to leave then, so you pack.up bags and so forth. My kids are 5 uears old, 3 years old, 2 years old, amd 28 weeks pregnant. So after getting everything ready, you get them dressed. Then just puck up theor shoes, amd put them in when you get there. because they will be taken them off before we get their. Like I just cleaned and now I have to clean agian, I was thinking about running to the store. Well nope.
For the longest stretch while I was pregnant with my second, my 2 year old would wait til we were trying to leave to say, "Uh I just poo poo..." Even though I asked him 5 minutes before that whether or not he had to go. It happened often enough that my boss began asking if I needed to change my shift time because I made in it a few minutes late for so many days! Thank goodness he stopped, but now it's the, "No let me do it!" phase, so we're back to square one! 😂😒
I get everyone ready and everytime the baby blows out her diaper with the worst poop possible. Not to mention my husband looses his socks and I forget to do my hair and end up looking like a hobo while everyone else looks like this picture perfect family lol. #livingthemomlife
we always forget something at home and have to turn around and run back in to get it.
the baby always blows out or spits up everywhere the second we are walking out the door lol so back inside and out of the carseat to change her clothes 😂
I'm always late because I got to get my 3boys ready my husband can't find something to wear or he cant find his shoes and my kids one is running around trying to leave naked and my smallest well he's small and I still got to pack diaper bag and get ready, yeahhh it's a mission!!!
@preggie_usa, We're always late either because our babies cry an delay us mom's or either we have to get the baby bag ready an baby's outfit ready besides our self and this is a every day thing lol
Usually I get dressed first then I, then I get the baby dressed, changed and feed, but the main reason I'm usually late is I misplace my keys and my wallet so I spend 30 minutes to an hour looking for them, then I have to get everything in the vehicle then we can finally leave to our destination
just had this happen yesterday we had to leave early and I got myself ready first then got the kids up to get ready and when they don't want to be up it leaves getting them ready up to me. I got my daughter ready (she's 2) then got my son ready (he's 1) then I turn around and find my daughter with all of her clothes off standing on her head which means I have to fix her hair again and get her dressed. then turn around and my son has his shoes off. I just leave them off and hurry to get them to the car and start to leave.I get halfway there when I realize I forgot to get the diaper bag and have to go all the way back and get it. by the time I get there I am already an hour late
Im always late cause one child hate clothes the other child hate shoes and my other child likes to go. I have to get dressed first then them. and my youngest baby like to poop every time he get in the car (literally)
I'm always to tires to actually get up when my alarm goes off then right before im out the door I have to pee.. OF COURSE! Then lastly when I go to lock the door I can't find my keys #pregnancybrain.. It never fails !
I've walked out the house and got in the car with slippers on & my hair a mess 😩 My baby girl looked like she stepped out of a Carter's magazine though!
I'm always late becaus my kids don't like clothes, if I dress them 20min or more before I leave the house they will take all but underwear off so I have to dress them when I'm about to leave smh 🙁🙁🙁
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Diaper blow out just as you have everyone at the door ready to walk out. Now mom and baby need a bath and new set of clothes.
