I thought you weren't supposed to get a period while breastfeeding. Its been 2 months since I've had my daughter and i just now started. Will it mess with my milk supply?

I heard it doesn't return when ur ecologically breastfeeding for at least 6 months like no pumping pacificers or anything else just breast
