So now that I have my gallbladder out and I'm able to eat again I'm trying to give breastfeeding another go. I never stopped producing milk it was always there but I'm sure my supply has gone waaaay down. Any tips for me? I really want to breastfeed as long as possible.

@lbn_aznsmom13, my son has been gaining weight steadily thankfully even when I was nursing. But sometimes even on the painkillers the pain would completely incapacitate me and I just wouldn't be able to nurse him... It would break my heart watching my husband feed him while I just layed there feeling helpless and useless and like I had failed my son.

I know the feeling. i had a c section. I couldn't function on my pain killers. she would stay asleep because of them and not nurse. I cried when I gave her the first bottle of formula but she had lost so much weight from not enough transfer that they were going to have to hospitalize her if I didn't so I did and it still broke my heart though.

@lbn_aznsmom13, I had gallstones up until about 2 weeks ago when I finally got my gallbladder taken out. I had to stop nursing because of the painkillers I was on just to function. I knew he needed to be fed but that first bottle of formula I made him broke my heart...

No problem lol. I only got to breast feed for 3 weeks. now I'm 27 week's pregnant and still producing but my daughter had such a bad latch due to tongue and lip ties she couldn't nurse adequately. I love helping people when I can:)

old fashioned steel cut oats. lots of water. blue Gatorade. latch as much as possible. get as much skin to skin as possible. flax seed. brewers yeast. chia seeds. keep up your calories when you do start producing more. breastfeeding burns calories. keep water and maybe granola bars or something like that near you for snacks while baby nurses. almonds are good for production too. you can try power pumping if you have a pump.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
