Mommies,Cambridgeshire🙏Please,could anyone suggest any blood group testing centers in our area?!All my life I lived and knew that my blood type is B(+),even had a blood transfusion from my mom when I was a baby and now after test in my hospital I was struck by the news that my blood type is B (-).I just would like to double check for piece of mind 👀maybe that was a mistake?!many-many thanks in advance 👼

The only change to bloodtype that can occur is a switch from Negative (-) blood to Positive (+) blood. This is due to the development of antibodies to the + bloodtype. This process cannot be reversed however, going from Positive (+) to Negative (-).
The process is most common in pregnant women or new mothers, when the fetus carries Positive, and the mother Negative.
Your gp can double check that no issues or request midwife re checks
