My daughter is 9 weeks and I'm going back to work when she's 12 weeks, trying to wean her from only breastfeeding to taking the bottle. It's been so hard, she acts like she's gagging everytime we try to give her the bottle, even though it's still my breast milk. We've tried Avent, Nuk, Mam and Tommee Tippy bottles but no luck. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do?
Omg. I'm in a mommy group on Facebook and this lady posted pictures of her 1 WEEK old daughters tongue and asked what it could be. Shes at the ER trying to find answers bc her daughter won't latch, or drink from a bottle no matter what nipple/bottle she uses. Everyone says it looks like tongue tie. No big deal, but in the pictures, she has her daughter's ears pierced! She's 1 week old and her ears are pierced. Comments are being deleted bc it's not safe to Pierce a baby's ears that young and people are trying to tell her that but admins keep deleting their comments.
What would you mum's do in my position. If anyone saw my last 2 post my little girl has a viral infection and rash to seem to getting worse it's taking over her face toes legs in her nappy even her sole of her feet it's everywhere now she's won't have her bottle last time she fed was at 4 this morning she's having Calpol buts she's not her self. What would you do would you ring 111 again ?? I kinda want a second opinion
Did any of you mommas get pregnant while on the depo shot or right after it expired or what ever my fiancées ex is trying to say she's 2 months pregnant with his baby but she's on the depo shot and was just at the ob a few weeks ago and her pregnancy test was negative she just texted me now talking all kinds of crap saying before he passed he was sleeping with her and it's his kid so don't feel special and crap I know she's lying but still I'm curious
Advice please ? Long story... I'm getting married in April we decided no kids other than our own two and my niece And nephew as would end up more kids that adults and it would Cost so much more plus wanted parents to have a day/night to enjoy themselves. Anyway my "maid of honor" ( hasn't done much to help but cause me stress) has 5 kids her youngest will be around 5 months old she's breastfeeding him and keeps telling me she is gonna try and express ect... but I know she has no intentions of doing that and I worry she's gonna put me on the spot the day before and say he won't take a bottle (cos she wouldn't have tried) so she either can't come or has to bring him. I'm spending a lot of money for her dress, hair make up food ect... so deffo don't wanna be let down. But it's not just her that's got kids the ushers have kids and we said no kids. Now I know it's different as she's feeding him but I dunno what to do!? Do I say she can bring him (if my oh agrees too) or do I say she can't. This all sounds so awful when I read it but there will be two other guests that will have newer baby's than that coming and they arnt bringing them. The biggest thing is she's just not talking to me about any of this she's ignoring my messages and not making contact with me. But she's spoken to a friend about it who told her to talk to me and be honest about it all! Torn tbh as she's already not coming on my hen but still hasn't told me this!!! If she just came to me and said look I'm feeding my baby I don't wanna bottle feed him so either he comes or I can't I'd be happier she's being honest rather than dragging it out making out she gonna try and express. I don't expect her to I said it's down to her it's her baby. May I add that we fell out a while ago as she wasn't bothering with me ect any way we made up and I asked her be part of the wedding again so she could have said then I can but il have a baby then, but she didn't she just said it will be fine il sort out. So stressed ?
Science! My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

The brand is bare I believe. Google bare air bottles, it pops up right away. :)

I would try bare air bottles. It immitates the breast, and doesnt allow air. It even has a nipple like the breast, its super cool.

I've given each of them a few days, with the same reaction. Yeah guess it's just trial and error. @edomke
