my husband just got offered a job making 31 an hr. which would be amazing! and help us out a lot. but he would only be home 7 weeks a year. hed have to take the only car we have. he would miss our 3 week olds firsts. miss our 5 year olds school functions. he would miss everything. and i dont think our marriage would survive. hes tempted to take it... guess if he does ill figure things out.. just sucks for my boys.

My aunt and uncle have been married for 20 years he's in Hawaii now been there for almost a year and they're fine. Before he too that job he would work in a city 3 hours away and would stay there 5 days a week. My aunt says she likes the independence and time away from him but everyone takes distance differently
I remember when my husband got a job offering the same, if he took it he would rarely be home. At the end he decided the money wouldn't make up for the moments missed which is true... However We are still struggling with finances but I'm glad he made the decision he made.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

i have trust issues. i trust him. but he has done things in the past that would make it hard. he says the plus is the money. cuz i could continue to be a stay at home mom. the down fall is missing everything with the boys. and not coming home to us every night.
