It's to sterilize them. You don't have to do it. Soap and hot water is good enough.

sterilizing. A lot of people do it to clean out the germs from being packaged at factories!!

I do it when we get new bottles, sippies, binkies. I also boil everything every 2 weeks. You don't have to though. I nice hot bath in the sink will do the trick or dishwasher.

You can also use the sanitize function on your dishwasher if you have one.

Most products tell you it's the safest thing to do. I always do with newborns and infant products.

I have sterilizer bags I believe it's better and safe that's my opinion
