How many of you feel as if your in laws are trying to one up you? I had bought my 4 yr old 10 dollar Velcro shoes at Walmart for school because I feel like kids that age don't care about stuff like that, well he shows the in laws and that same day around 3 hours after I bought them they go out and buy him flashy new 50 dollar light up shoes and I just get this vibe and the look that is in their eyes is pure discuss, like 'how can she not car what he's wearing' or 'those are cheap and we don't do...

Parent teacher meeting tomorrow at 7 am (😩😤😡) then school starts Monday. This will be speech program/PreK, if that makes sense. Not thrilled to be waking up at 6 but at least I get to see the excitement in Aj's eyes walking into class and picking him up. Let's just hope this year will be better behavior. It's been 4 years since I have given life to my oldest. 4 yrs of a roller coaster ride, 4 yrs of a life changing experience, 4 yrs of love and kisses. Aj is doing a lot better in school and is now staying the full day. Last day of school is the 24th. I missed out on a class event so I got a surprise from him for Mother's Day. What did you get for Mother's Day?

Aj walked right in! No hug, no kiss, no goodbye or a wave! He did excellent and took right to the other kids. It's been a half hour and I already have to take my anxiety meds. Andrew keeps saying bub and looking for him. It's definitely different and it's going to take a while to get used to it.

Guys!!!! Aj starts the PreK/head start program the 6th. 8 hours Monday to Thursday. We got to see his classroom and teachers today and it didn't take long for him to adjust and get out there. I had to bribe him just to leave and that barely worked. They say it will be alright and he will adjust quickly but I'm still nervous. Tell me it's not so bad 😭 my baby is no longer a baby.
