!!!!! HELP !!!!
I'm 2 weeks postpartum .. my bleeding has slowed down a lot where I only need to wear panty liners and just a few mins ago I go to stand up n I feel gushes of blood coming out I go to the bathroom n there was a big thing of blood in my underwear and as I was peeing another one came out !!! WHAT IS WRONG ? do I need to go to the hospital !!?

My doctor today me before I left the hospital that if I have clots bigger then a quarter size I needed to go in. She only said the next few days but idk if that's the same for 2 weeks pp. you could always call where you delivered and talked to the doctor that's there right now.
Very normal you're pp period will be light and heavy some days. And clots will come out as well.
Your uterus is shrinking and contracting, especially only 2 weeks postpartum. You might go through stages of light bleeding and heavy bleeding as your uterus goes back to its original size, which takes 6-8 weeks. The bleeding won't normally last that long but that's how long it will take to shrink back down. And I believe it is just if one that you pass is the size of a golf ball or larger to go in. But you can always call :).
even if both of them together are bigger than a golf ball ?! I just don't get how I was barley bleeding and then this happens ?! @therockamom
They're blood clots and they say if they are smaller than a golf ball, you shouldn't be concerned.
If it's 3 clots they each have to be as big as the gold ball not all 3 combined makes the golf ball.
