@3anddone, I feel your pain. Omg you are stocked! And I thought I was doing good lol, but then again I'm only pumping 1-2x a day. Up to 130 oz so far - how much is that there?
I get 4 ounces out of each boob... About 10, no more than 15 minutes of pumping.
@3anddone, yeah, I've heard people say that too and I'm thinking, uh, yeah they CAN overeat, especially if you have a quick letdown like I do lol.
@ftm2babyc, I wish someone had informed me lol. Here I am, on my 3rd child just finding out. Better late than never.
oh yeah I know it can be done. its happened a couple times, but it also has happened with poor burping too
@ftm2babyc, after going through this a few times against the doctors suggestion of overfeeding I realized that she was right. She burps pretty well after feeding and breastfed babies tend to swallow less air so sometimes it isn't needed. I'm sure it's overfeeding. Only informing fellow BF mommies
@mommyof3mjk, it's overfeeding. When she eats too much it happens. She's still in her very sleepy stages so most of the time if she falls asleep eating, I just let her but when she stays awake I put her on the other boob and she projectile vomits. It's not acid reflux. I only posted this to inform other mothers.
hmm well usually a baby won't eat if they're not hungry and if she's eating every 2-3 hours she should be fine when u feed her. I would ask her Dr about acid reflux medicine to see if it helps.
@mommyof3mjk she eats every 2-3 hours and she isn't fussy while eating. She only cries after because she's scared.
@babes101116, yes, horrible regurgitation. I was told that you couldn't but I have learned my lesson. I told the doc about her projectile vomiting and she said I could be over feeding but not listening because a past doctor said it wasn't possible when I had my 1st child, I just did it again... I fed her on both breasts and a flood of milk came out. I have a large supply of milk and a fast let down so I'll just be feeding off of 1 boobie at a time.
@mommagotbump16, I took this pic when I was 1.5 weeks postpartum I'm going on 7... I don't remember and I have lost count now lol. I pumped after every feeding. Now I only pump once a day because I'm running out of freezer space.
