If you're the midwife/doctor on call, then why don't you answer the calls from the on call nurse? I called my obgyn at 11:35 last night because of contractions. and I'm told the midwife/doctor on duty will call me back. Never did.
Got in touch with the midwife. She’s consulting with the other doctor there. Might have me go to L&D for another cervical check and possible steroids for baby’s lungs. Just waiting for a call back for some direction.

Just called the doctors and she said the midwife won’t be in touch with me until around 12 weeks is that normal?? I’m sure with Reuben I was earlier than that to have bloods done and to make sure that everything was going ok.... x

I fell asleep and my phone never went off. the contractions just subsided. I honestly hope the midwife that is on duty when I do go into full labor isn't her because every time I've seen her for my appointment, she rushes everything. the others take time to go over every single concern I have and what goes on with my life, like work, home, my oldest.

Usually they say if you don't hear back in 15 minutes to call again.
