Is it wrong for me to not want to be a stay at home mom anymore? I need to get out. I wanna work...Have conversations…

I feel the same way, I'm a full time student (online) but I need to be around other adults working atleast part time or something, I love my kids but sitting with them all day messing up what I've just cleaned is depressing me and my husband comes home plays the game and sleeps we barely talk

@hellosweetie, lol my hubby works a lot of hours too. he takes the "good" car so I'm basically here all Damn day...I haven't went out because it's been too hot for me to go outside too lol I can't even imagine how more hot it is over there...here in Fairfield, Ca where I'm at the highest it's been lately is 100° and that's too hot for me lol I hate dry head weather...

AND my girl never once took a bottle so I can't even go out for a couple hours on his days off to ground myself 😢 I've done my fair share of feeling sorry for myself LOL

Girl I am here for you, almost 11 months of mommy-isolation and I really need friends who understand as well lol to top it off, hubby works a lot of hours and he of course takes the car with him, so I have no means of transportation, not to mention the heat here in AZ prevents me from walking places cuz I can't handle the heat....

@hellosweetie, OMG YES!!!! Everything you just is soooo true for me too...I'm so glad there is someone out there that completely understands me!! Especially when you have PPD that doesn't help...Sometimes I just want to cry lol I start to feel sorry for myself. All my friends work so it's not like I can just go to their house and chill..lol

10.5, almost 11 months as a SAHM here, and I gotta say, I completely agree with you. I'm sorry, but whoever told us that being a SAHM was easier than being a working mom was lying out their ass lol BOTH are hard, but one is not harder than the other. What is hardest about being a SAHM is you NEVER get a break. From the moment you open your eyes to the moment you close them, and even during the night, you are on constant call to care and be responsible for another human being. There are no State mandated breaks or "me" times, there are no decisions made for yourself without taking into account that you must include your child. And most of all, it is the LONELIEST job, I love my daughter more than anything but I would LOVE to just have an adult friggin conversation with someone who can actually talk to me lol all woes aside, I am glad I can be there for my girl and even though I want to work I will still wait because she is what is important and our situation calls for me to stay with her. Girl if your situation means you can work, go for it! Because if I could, I would have gone back to work already lol
