Questions for the mommies: Letting my one month old sleep in our bed so he will stop crying - is that creating dependency issues? I don't feel 100% comfortable with him still being so little but also I can't just let him cry all night. He will cry, calm down, maybe even fall asleep and start crying again. When he sleeps with us he's basicslly asleep all night. But I get barely any sleep because I wake up to check and make sure he's okay.

Children don't develop the cognitive concept of object permanence fully until they are 2 years old. A one month old does not possess the brain development to KNOW that when you're not around, you don't cease to exist. You're definitely not at risk for dependency just yet; baby just probably feels legit alone if all the other needs are met. I started transitioning my son into his own room/crib around 6 months, if that helps 💕
