Good morning mommies!
I'm having a REALLY hard time at home.. last night was my first night home.. my belly was hurting so bad from my c section and my nipples are KILLING me... I've bleed from.both nipples.. I try breast feeding first And if my son don't latch I supplement with a bottle... I want to breast feed but its almost too much on me.. being in pain from my c section and then still trying to breast feed... my son won't latch onto me unless I have the nipple guard on.. and even then.. it takes a while to get him on and he gets frustrated with me... I don't know what to do I'm just so sad.. I'm so tired And just want to do what's best for my son... I would feel so awful if I stopped breast feeding but I don't know what to do.. :(
dr gave me norcos @meli2890 I'm only taking them when I feel like I really need to...
yea give formula don't stress yourself out it took me 5 days to get My milk in I just had my baby on the 5th c section also ..didn't your doctor prescribe you pain medication
how and when should I pump? I have a hand held pump but I was never told how or when to pump... how long should I pump? can I pump from both breast and keep it in the same bottle? @brwneydgirly25 @elismommy428
The first month is hard! If u need to supplement don't feel bad because your doing what u have to do for your baby can eat..also to relieve your nipples from pain buy a nipple balm! It really helps!
first couple of weeks are rough, I didn't had a C-section but I did had a reeeally hard time breastfeeding, it took me a month to learn how.. and it doesn't mean it will take you that long momma, it's a new thing for both of you, so it's completely understandable if you don't know what to do.
but it will get easier. Don't give up! I know a probably say this too much but it's true, This will only be temporary. In a few years you will think back and say "What a beautiful experience that was"❤
your baby eating is most important so if you need to give formula to accomplish that don't feel bad momma.. c sections are tough and take a lot of energy and rest to heal.. if you want to continue breastfeeding make sure you are emptying your breasts at every feeding with a pump to keep your supply up if he doesn't latch.. then when you feel better from the c section you can try more often and put more effort into trying to get baby to latch when you aren't in so much pain.. good luck momma your doing a good job 👍😗💕@veda1010
oh ok good.. it's so painful
