My milk came in yesterday and my breasts are huge and engorged. They told me to use warm compresses or hot shower. What about cold compresses or ice packs? Or should I only use warm stuff?

need some advice. Had some mixed advice. using formula and basically some things say I can use tap water and warm up the bottle in my bottle warmer. somethings are saying I have to use boiling water and cool down. so I'm really confused. is it ok to use tap water and warm in my bottle warmer or not?

You should alternate between warm & cold

@mrsthig, thank you!! I'm gonna do that. The cold just feels so much better than the warm, alternating is a good idea though.
