for you mom's breast feeding newborns how long do you feed them? some times I pump and I pump 2 Oz that's how I much I feed her but when I put her on the boon some times idk if she's getting the 2 Oz she gets in the bottle because she always falls asleep in the middle the longest she stayed on my boobs was an 1hr most of the time its 30 20 mins some tines show than that.

when i had my son the doctors told me that 20 to 30 mins on one boob and then the same on the other boob. thats what i always thought when i was breastfeeding. but as long as your baby is sucking he is getting enough.

Your baby is getting all she needs your doing great especially since at that age they eat frequently and their stomachs are so small so even if it seems like a little bit it's enough :) my baby would only eat a few minutes at a time and other times it felt like she didn't stop eating lol but like I said your doing fine just try feeding her every 2 hours or so

don't listen to all of that how long baby should nurse mess. if baby latches, you try to wake baby up while feeding & you can see milk is going on her mouth baby is fine. my son used to never nurse for more than 5 minutes & the nurses made me feel like he wasn't eating. my son passed his birth weight 3 days after we left the hospital. as long as baby is getting wet diapers & gaining weight you are doing great!

^exactly. same thing with mine. as a new born she ate 5 to 10 mins. but as she grew older she nursed more. n she gained weight. doctor said i might have to pump n feed her more if she didnt gain weight. but she did. past her birth weight when he checked on her.
