so she's hamming it up in the car. this is my mom's car seat. how can I keep her arms in the straps? no matter what I do, she gets them out and it scares the shit out of me because I know it isn't safe....I can't keep pulling over every 5 minutes to fix the straps
son getting out of car seat So a couple days ago my son started getting himself out of his car seat while we are on the road. He will be 2 years old May 27th. He pushes the chest clip all the way down and pulls his arms and shoulders out of the straps but is still buckled at the waist. Today he did it 4 times, we had to pull over every time. What do you guys do when they start doing this? My Britax came with these long rubber strap covers but I took them off a while ago when he was to small for them. Are they to stop him from pushing the chest clip down? I just want to know if these will help before I take it apart to put them back on.

I got a car seat from a friend and a stroller online the carseat fits in the stroller but the shade won't close :( get a smaller car seat or keep it ?

I recommend asking the Facebook group car seats for the littles and find a more fitted seat for her while in your mother's car.

@tiffrae, no, if I could get a picture in time I would, but as soon as I start driving, she takes her arms out. this is my mom's car seat (and I told her it seems small, but the good thing is, she's barely ever in it) but she does this in mine too, but mine is bigger. I want to prevent her getting her arms out, period. I have tightened the straps but she still manages to get them off....
my car seat doesn't fit in her car and I've got no air conditioning in my car so I need to borrow hers.

try this. you can use a short sleeve button up as well especially for these summer months
