I hear ya! I knew the gender at 12 weeks from the chromosomal test but it's always cool to see him on an ultrasound!

@kenitra, Yes it's late. I got one done in the er. but i wasn't able to see or hear anything the just told me everything was okay.. si my first official appt w/doc check up was on the first of july. just no ultrasound until the 4th. 😑 I have no patience! lol

That's late for a first ultrasound, but that's anatomy scan time so they should be able to tell unless your baby is hiding it!!

it should be your anatomy scan which is the gender u/s

Yes they can check for gender if you ask. I saw the gender of my child at 16 weeks so by the 5th you should be at least 20 weeks to see the gender

if in good position yes you are able to see sex at 12
