Ultrasound So I Had My First Ultrasound At 6 Weeks Heard Baby's Heart Beat And Everything Was Ok.... Doc Said I Wouldn't…

In the UK its first scan (dating scan and heartbeat) at approx 12 weeks, then you have your gender and anomalies scan at approx 20 weeks, then check up scans come around the 3rd trimester. Or if you have any concerns A&E will scan you, or your midwife will refer you for another. I know it's different in other countries but this is routine over here ❤️ x

So it's probably a little different to ours. Either way, they can't deny you an u/s if you insist on one.

Not sure what country you're from, but in Australia its routine to have two thorough ultrasounds at 12 weeks and 19 weeks. The 12 week one usually assesses any genetic risks and you have to have a blood test beforehand too. Other than that, most ob's have their own basic ultrasound machines and will take a very quick look during every visit. I would specifically request one.

I Went To The Er When I Was 4 Weeks They Did An Ultrasound Because I Was Having Super Bad Cramps The Baby Was To Small To See. I Had/ Have A Hemorrhage I Have No Idea If I've Last It Or Not. I have had no bleeding, at my last ob Appointment Was At 6 weeks and I saw my baby and Hemorrhage was still their The Er Said I could more then likely Miscarry but my ob said everything is look fine I'm just worried.

I had one at 12 weeks and 20 weeks. I'm 31 weeks today, they said I might get another one around 34-36 weeks.

I'm 8 weeks & so far I've had 4 ultrasounds. But my next one isn't until 20 weeks :(

If your really anxious or worried about baby, you could always go to the hospital & say you have pain & they do an ultrasound. Lol but that's probably not a very good thing to do.

Thats a very long wait,i had my dating scan at 5weeks but went back for repeat 10days later then another at 12weeks and again anatomy at 19weeks next one due at 28weeks,

I went private at 14weeks for gender..

It's my 4th baby. . If there not offering anymore id definitely be going for a private scan if i where you or maybe call in at some stage and tell them your worried about something they'll have to scan to check everything going well,it sounds wrong to have to do that but if there not scanning id be doing the same.

I had 2 at 6 weeks, one was in the ER and one at my OBs office. And my next one was at 19 weeks. And I won't get anymore now unless something goes wrong.

14 weeks and going again today at 19 weeks and 3 days

I got one at 17 weeks than one at 22 weeks n didn't get another until 32 weeks n now I'm getting another one Friday which tomorrow I be 37 weeks so yeah

I had one at 9 weeks and one at 20 weeks with my first, with my second I never got my first one till 19 weeks, I'm going in for my second one in a few days and I'm already 35 weeks!

I Also Took Clomid To Conceive My Little Blessing

I had one at 10w to check viability and date, one at 12w that would have been my first (I was on Clomid though, so 10w was my first), and I get one at 20w.

My first was 6 weeks then the next was 19. Never got another one after/: ill be getting a 3rd with my next pregnancy! I hated the last couple months not being able to see if everything was okay in there.

I'm planning on getting one

I got my first at 9 weeks 3 days and I just had my second one at 19 weeks 5 days. It feels like it's going to be a long time, but it's not as hard as you feel it may be. You'll still get your monthly appointments and hear your baby's heartbeat each time. And if you want you can buy a home doppler so you can hear your baby's heartbeat any time you'd like. ☺

You'll get frequent appointments with your OBGYN but only 1-3 ultrasounds. I wouldn't expect another until 16-20 weeks.

That Makes my So Sad Wanted To See My Baby Sooner But Guess I'll Just Have To Wait :(

I had to wait until 20 weeks to see my baby girl again.

That's to long she should c u once a month, until u start getting closer

I only get one ultrasound this time around. Last pregnancy I had four in total.

For a pregnancy with no risks,the norm is usually about 16-19 weeks and then again a little bit after. Some women only have one ultrasound throughout their whole pregnancy and that is around 20 weeks because that's when they do the anatomy scans.

So 20 Weeks Is Way To Long Right? Or Am I Just That Anxious To See Baby

I got checked in 4 weeks for the first time and my OB calls me in every 4 weeks from then.
