Okay so i last time I got an ultrasound my baby weighed 4 pounds 10 ounces. & that was Thursday. I am 34 weeks & 2 days. If i were to go into labor would the baby be okay? Only asking because iv been having weird dreams about going in labor early & i just want to know if that did happen he would be okay.

( just so everyone know's, i am not trying to put myself in labor, just curious)

Of course! Your baby if over 4lbs. You would have a premie. There is nothing wrong with that. In two weeks you'll be 9months. 36wks. Which is when baby is considered fully developed. Just relax!

It's not about the weight. Your babies lungs are still developing. They finish around 37-38 weeks, that's why it's so important to keep baby in and Dr's typically stop labor if it's early.

If you went into labor now at 34 wks, chances are baby will be okay, but will most likely require a stay in the NICU if they weren't able to stop labor.
