So my OH likes a little drink now and again which is fine and I must admit he has been so good during the pregnancy, not really had any lads nights, maybe the odd pint and just had a bottle of wine on a Friday or Saturday in the house. This past weekend I feel he has drank more than usual (admittedly still in the house not going out) but I've had to speak to him today and ask that he stays off the booze for the next couple of weeks or a least just have only 1 so his not over the limit just in case he's had one too many and I go into labour and I need him to drive me. He has taken this well but now I feel bad for asking him....am I being over the top??? xxx

Not at all, I had the same conversation with my hubby. He was drinking 4 beers every Saturday night, which worried me, especially when I hit the 37 week mark and they kept telling me I could go into labour before due date. (He wouldn't of driven even after just one beer, so trying to get him to cut down wasn't an option either). Thankfully, I think it dawned on him how close we were getting and this is the first weekend he hasn't had any (I'm 38+2!!). xx

Not at all bab! My hubs drank loads when I first got pregnant I think he was excited about not having to be designated driver! But now if he drinks it's one, so he can drive to hospital. xXx

I asked my hubby to stop for the whole 9 months and he has so no hun you aren't being over the top at all x
