Anyone know any jobs that wont shoot me down just because im pregnant? I plan on going to work after maternity leave. I dont want a super long leave either. I do need somewhat flexible hours and im open to full or part time. The job i had tried to weasel their way out of giving me any maternity leave.Stating i had to apply for two weeks of unpaid medical leave, and that even then i could be denied. They wouldnt offer any job security while i was off work either and wanted me back for on call work if someone called in as soon as i was discharged from labor and delivery. I need at least a part time job for now. Already applied to a few places in retail. I have shift manager experience.

If you've served before, and there is one near you, apply online for The Cheesecake Factory. I make anywhere between $100-$250 a night. And I only work two days a week. I know we just hired a girl who is 31 weeks! Couldn't hurt to try. 💜

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.

called hr at my job to find out about paid maternity leave. they basically told me I'm ineligible for a paid leave (short term disability) but that I can do a "job protection" leave that's unpaid and I have to use my vacation hours. this is exactly why I will not be returning to taco bell after I have this baby! been working there for almost 3 years, been a manager for almost a year, and I have to use vacation hours for maternity leave!?
