it's Friday, and I got fired on my day off... .. only me, the craziest shit always happen..

I know that here in AZ being pregnant is considered a disability and depending on what you job duties are they are supposed to accommodate you. Could be a lawsuit. You should definitely look into it.

As a business owner I can tell you a person can be fired on their day off depending on the events leading up to said firing. No idea about your back story I'm simply saying with documentation and evidence they can. Sorry it happened to you.

I got fired from my last job for being pregnant and having to request days off for my appointments. I was high risk. my boss politely told me it's because my work slowed down and I wasn't being able to keep up. the truth was my coworker was a B**ch and left me all day by myself and wouldn't come back long enough to give me my lunch break and I passed out in front of a customer twice. so instead of doing what she told me to do I went home and finally got something to eat or it would have been 12 hours since my last meal. when I threatened with a lawyer I was given a copy of my contract showing where I signed the company's insurance policy for our traveling and how it affected us. well the page they didn't let me see when I signed was stating in the event I got pregnant the policy (which I needed to keep the job) became null and void so they used that to justify me getting fired while I was pregnant. so watch your back they will cover their ass. it's pitiful. technically if you have restrictions from your doctor they legally can't fire you and they know that. they will give some BS excuse.

they can't fire you on your off day..... I smell a lawsuit coming

call a lawyer tell them what happen and see what they say

@mybabynme, I wish.. I KNOW for a fact it's my scheduling and recent restriction but this right to work state can just say anything..
