I had about 7 during my pregnancy. Only reason I had that many was because of my daughter's umbilical cord.

I had one every doctors visit

I think it must be different dr to dr. With my first I only had 3. My anatomy scan was the last one with that pregnancy. With my second, I had 4, but only because they wanted to follow up on something they saw in the anatomy scan. I know for UC Davis (if your in the sac area) they only do one at 8 weeks to confirm pregnancy, one around 15 weeks and then the anatomy scan around 20 weeks, unless there is some medical reason for needing more US's.

It must depend on your doc. I've had one every appointment and everything is perfect. I'm not sure why but my Dr just does a quick look every appointment

man I can't count how many I have had I have them done every 3 weeks to make sure baby's heart and kidney's are developing :) that's only because she has Single umbilical artery, but 4-5 ultrasounds are normal that's how many I had with my 1sy

I have three plus i had stress testing twice a week every week Monday and Thursday and would get an ultrasound every Thursday
