all you need to remember is breastfeeding is supply & demand. the more you feed & pump the more milk you'll make. letting breasts feel "full" is bad that tells your body you dont need that much milk. drink a shit ton of water being dehydrated effects your supply. pump as much as you can especially if you miss a feeding like if you are at work or when baby sleeps at night. I've ebf my son for 9 months never had to supplement or take anything for my supply all i did was feed & pump on demand & carry water with me everywhere.
Nurse every 2-3 hours. Nurse on one side till baby is done. (About 15 minutes). Nurse on other side for 5. Pump a 1-4 times a day after nursing. My supply is pretty good. I pump anywhere from 2-5 oz each time I pump. Eat oatmeal regularly and drink mothers milk tea during growth spurts or if I need to stock up for some reason. I have a manual pump and I also have a suction pump which is hands free. I pop it in the opposite side of baby and it just collects the leakage. Which is about 1.5 oz. if I leave it on longer, I'll get up to 3 without doing anything. My son is 5 weeks old today and drinks about 2-4 oz per session.
i feed her on demand, so at least 6 times a day. if I give her a breastmilk bottle, I pump at that time or shortly after.
havent had any issues with my supply doing this
