Hi my name is Malinda, I am 26 years old. I have been blessed with an amazing fiancé named Derrick who is a combat veteran and an 11 month old daughter named Eloise.
Shortly after Eloise's arrival , I started feeling very anxious and depressed. I knew and everyone around me knew I showed signs of Postpartum Depression. After bringing it up to my doctors on more than one occasion they insured that it was probably just a combination of the "baby blues" and the passing of my grandma ( who was my best friend.) right before giving birth. They said to give it time. I felt dismissed like what I was feeling was supposed to be normal.
Weeks passed and then months, before I knew it I was back at my full time job. On top of depression and constant anxiety, stress started to set in and then the guilt about being away from Eloise. I became emotionally erratic and quit my job before realizing what that meant for my family. At the time I was the sole breadwinner and consumed most of the financial responsibility. I was perfectly happy doing so because Derrick found his calling as a mixologist working as a head bar tender at a restaurant he felt at home in. After leaving my job Derrick reassured me we would be okay. We were for a couple months, then without warning he got a text saying to pick up his last check because the restaurant was closing. That same day he signed up for Lyft and started sending out his resume everywhere. Needless to say we eventually blew through our savings.
Soon after that I reached out for help from a therapist. She diagnosed me with severe Postpartum depression. After being put on medication and seeing her regularly, I finally started feeling like myself again. I set out to find a job as well. I got very lucky to find a job with amazing people and a great atmosphere that made transitioning into working again seamless. Derrick also found a new job that seems like the perfect fit, we are just waiting on the grand opening.
Finally everything was falling into place. We have some bills stacked up but we could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. About a week ago we were victims of a hit and run on the 405 , thankfully Derrick's military instincts kicked in and he was able to catch the wheel before we spun into another car. Thank God we are all safe, just a bit banged up. Our car is in the shop and Derrick not being able to drive for Lyft and now we are having to pay a hefty deductible even though we are not at fault. We feel like we are back at square one, especially since rent is looming.
So here I am, out of ideas, putting my pride aside, pleading for help. It's all I can think of to do for my family. Eloise is happy and healthy and I will do everything in my power to keep it that way. Any donation will help, even if it's one dollar. We will appreciate it more than you could ever know.

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Opinions! I’m pregnant with my ex boyfriends third child it is our second together. Our daughter is 3, we split up a week before I found out I was pregnant. He doesn’t want to fix things. And I’ve been trying to sorta ask him to come home but found out some news that completely broke my heart. I sorta started to talk to someone that doesn’t live in my state but works around my area sometimes.. we spent some time together while he was here and he will be back in 3 weeks.. am I doing something wro...
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...
Hmm just fed my baby 4oz and he kept crying and sucking in his thumb after. So I fixed him two more ounces. Guess he is ready to start getting more 🤷🏻♀️
