Question : is it good that I stay on the go all the time? I don't act like I'm pregnant. (like some girls, stay at home all the time, lay in bed, complain etc.) Will this make my labor and delivery a little bit more smooth? or it doesn't matter ?
if u can stay on the go then its fine. not all women can. i did with my first even with how sick i was but my 2nd and now 3rd i really cant. so if u can more power 2 u. i wish i had that energy. sum days i do alot most days i cant do shit. they say it would help but thats not necessarily true. i stayed super actice for my first and she was late and i was leaking a lil. they gave me a couple days n nuttin. wasnt even close. i had to have a csection. i walked so long the night before. danced in my room and had sex. nuttin ever helped. i didnt eve. have a car back then so i went alot of places walking.
My friend worked out daily before she got pregnant, running 5+ miles a day.. Once she got pregnant she quit working it as much, but stayed in the gym walking at least 3 miles up until the night before she was induced. As long as you know your limits and don't push/strain yourself you are fine!
I would be careful with picking up heavy things . For me picking up heavy things made my back and stomach hurt . My boyfriend would only let me carry in the bread 😅😅😅
For me up until the last two weeks I would walk around and continued life like normal . If you feel like you want to go walking or go places it's fine . Just don't push your self to do something your body doesn't feel up to .
@ktwins188, I'll try not too. My feet can't take a break from swelling
@ktwins188, yeah. I just hope I'm prepared for the unexpected!
i know ladies that work out and left weights being pregnant
well I did that but just know your its time not to do it don't over do it all the time of
@ktwins188, so how about staying on the go? cleaning my car , picking up 24 packs of water, etc
Like most people said, it varies. So many factors with labour....my labours have all been very difficult and my hardest one was with my second when I worked on my feet 12 hours a day...
I worked out in the gym, did all my Army training, and worked as a lab tech up until my birth and I still ended up having a c-section due to my body not progressing after 26 hours of natural labor (no epidural: sometimes an epidural can cause your body to stop progressing). being active didn't do anything for me
To me it didn't matter. I was always on the go. I was in Labor for 27 hrs.
@edomke, hopefully my labor and delivery will be as smooth as yours lol
Well if it makes you feel better they say statistically you naturally go into labor at night. My water broke at 11 and I have my son ten minutes before 6 am lol
the more active you are the easier it will be but as well studies show that the less active it can also be easier just depends on the person
@edomke, I work full time 9am to 5pm Monday -Friday. Then I get home clean dishes, wash laundry etc Don't get to rest til 10pm some nights. I get at least 8 hrs of sleep everyday. I'm so nervous. I don't where I'm going to be at when my water breaks etc haha
I believe it does. Some people would disagree but I'm a stylist and worked a lot and was always moving around. He came two weeks early and my labor was only six hours
I wish I was heathy like all you other mommies. Something is always up w me. 😪 My anxiety is crazy right now. I always stay positive though. 🙏🏻
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I feel like all you girls on here hate me 😔 so I'm gonna delete this app ✌️
bleeding again
So I'm bleeding again but this time I'm sure it was my " Bloody Show " I'm cramping very bad!! But only when I move or sit to long...im 34 weeks 2 days I hope she stays in there a few more weeks at least till 36-37 only 2 more weeks baby girl you can do it...im kinda scared I feel like I'm just waiting on Labor to start at any time...i don't like this at all.
I go to bathroom every second and I have round ligament pain all the time
I was lazy the end of my pregnancy and my body didnt progress on its own and I had my labor go pretty quick even though I was induced I was told I could be in labor for over 20 hrs but they broke my water at 7am and I had my son at 2:38 with only 4 pushes.
