Day 1 for me too! Spent 1/2 the day in bed 🙈 then school run, stopped for milkshakes and slushies before going Tesco and then home. Pretty normal day 😬

I'm in the same boat got 5 weeks before he's here, it's ok atm as I'm making the games for my baby shower xx

Treasure basket: Find a sturdy wicker type basket & fill with as many natural materials/ household / safe objects as you can. Wooden spoons, small metal pots/lids/egg cups. Different material squares, purse with zips, keys on a ribbon. Erm struggling now but if you google will have lots of ideas

Start collecting clear plastic bottles. I find the Tropicana ones the best size. Take off packaging & once cleaned & dried add different objects with different colours, sounds even smells. For example, pasta, rice, coffee beans (pole small holes top of lid). Tin foil paper, multi-coloured buttons, water & glitter, coloured water with gems & loads more! 😊

I'm currently sat in my local pub on my own stuffing my face with a chocolate fudge pudding! someone suggested going to the cinema even if it's alone to catch up on any films you fancy and once I have completed my to do list I think I'm going to try and start making handmade gifts I'm so not creative but anything to keep me busy and to stop me constantly thinking is today the day!! lol 😂 xxx

Go get a pedicure, manicure. A little pamper. Those early days with a baby you will appreciate pretty toes and hands ☺️ any diy you want done, do it. But relax. Join some nct groups so you have mums near you with baby's the same time.

Thanks babe!! @stephy95 I've tried knitting like a million and one times and it just doesn't agree with me at all😂😂 but I might have a look to see if there are any other hobbies that I could do, I was thinking of making taggies for baby out of old blankets so may set myself a station up and crack on! @barnold I haven't once nested, it's my OH who's nesting which is bizzar haha, but all I've done today is clean just to keep myself from being bored, I think I need to have as it down and write a list of things that I can do lol xxx

@briony1994, i go on mat leave in 2 weeks and already dreading the boredom lol nesting has truly set in so house will be spotless by then so I've decided to decorate my lil mans room.. risky i know lol but family are helping.. well mainly doing it all.. we've just had our lease on house extended so thought sod it lets decorate.. everyone's telling me to rest but since i was born I've always been a 'on the go' kinda person.. if you find any ideas let me know and if i think of anything il let you know 😁 x

@briony1994, why not pick up a wee hobby like knitting or crocheting? I do knitting and been making some baby blankets to pass the time as I don't work due to health reasons..really simple and you'll have something for baby when he/she comes :)!xx

I think I would appreciate a toddler a couple days a week while I'm off😂😂 lol! Never thought of doing stuff like that!! That's going on my list of stuff to do! :) @sara-lou xx

I have a toddler this time so I'm enjoying the 2days he's at nursery & I can put my feet up! I remember I spent a lot of time making resources as well. You could start putting a treasure basket & sensory bottles together for baby if your getting bored.

Yes it's my first @sara-lou, OH works stupid and lots of hours so I think I'm going to be going on walks by myself (not too far tho) @mrsmowmow I can't just sit this is my problem, I'll happily have a nap but inbetween sleeping I need stuff to do😂😂 xx

Haha well put your feet up & relax then. Is this your first? I did get bored with my first. My husband was made redundant just before so we went on a lot of long walks together & pub crawls along the river (not drinking obviously) lol.

This is day 1 of holidays starting, 2 weeks of holidays then maternity starts at 38, so got a full 4 weeks left before baby is due🙈 I've already cleaned the whole house today😂🙈 @sara-lou xx

im the same hun... im doing jobs that wouldnt normally get done.. like windows. sorting stuff out. cupboards x

How long have you got left? I've got 2 weeks & I'm spending it re-arranging babies cupboards, clothes etc & cleaning whilst my son is at nursery. Or sitting watching tv in bed!
