My s/o lost his uncle/best friend last night and he just isn't the same. He's been so quiet and I am trying my best to be there for him. But he just seems to have no emotion. What do I do? I hate seeing him like this. :(

lm sorry for his loss. I agree with the ladies above.. he needs to grive in his own way. time and a little space but do let him know you are there for him. my SO is still struggling with the loss of our little one 6-18-16. but he's starting to come around and talk to me. your SO will do the same. sending love and hugs.

Just be there as much as you can but yes do give him space as long as he knows its okay to not be okay and your by his side.

Let him grieve my hubby was the same a few years ago when he lost his cousin/brother and last year when he lost his grandfather. That's just his way of grieving that's all.

Maybe give him space let him know if he needs something you're there but don't smother him
