Question does everybody else wash their unborn baby New Clothes if so Why. Just curious! To me it's just a waste of time
I washed everything just to be safe worked in the mall and stockers see a lot. then there's the dirt from floors and in my case my bf has sensitive skin so just incase my daughter does as well I'd rather be on the safe side
for my personal experience am going to wash them this time because everybody touch it, they fell on the dusty floor in stores, also they rub it all over the cashier when paying ... and I don't want baby getting a cold right away
sometimes there's chemicals in the clothing from the dye or just from making them. also you never know what you're baby is going to be allergic to. I washed everything that's going to be touching her just because I rather be safe about it then her breakout or something happen from them not being washed. there's a special laundry soap you use for newborns and that's what I got.
I have but almost all of the clothes I've gotten have been from yard sales and I've always done that even with my clothes that I get at yard sales. The new clothes that I've gotten I washed some of them but not all.
I do because you never know what chemicals are on the clothes from the company/factory, selling in the store. I'm sure there's rats and roaches in most if all factory's ,then at the stores different people are touching them, sometimes returning them and who knows how clean or dirty those people are, they fall on the floor at the store. and baby's already have really sensitive skin. I'm not worried about sizes since I already know I have big baby's so I don't buy anything smaller than 3-6m.
you don't. I always pack nb and 0-3mon in baby bag for the hospital for just in case.
I never washed any of my kids clothes when they were first bought..
Ok but how do u know exactly how much ur unborn weighs @tiffrae
I enjoy the scent of dreft now everytime I open up the close it smells baby fresh + babies can have sensitive skin .
I wash them because ib works in retail unpacking clothes and putting them out, I have seen some of the most disgusting bugs come out of those boxes.
Yes I understand I should consider bcuz I have sensitive skin as well @babes101116
there's an article about why you wash any clothing before wearing it... I'll have to find it for you. I personally would never put clothes on before washing it.
I do only because some of the clothes shrank.
Sometimes they have weird smells on them, and you never know who or what touched them before you bought them. I wash them because my kids have super sensitive skin
I'm not going to, but I guess some people just enjoy having things be super fresh thus it's not a waste of time for them personally 😊

Just for fun!!!
How old are all the October mommy's?
Just got my one month old to pee AND poop in the potty ☺️ #godiaperfree
I am actually in the process of washing everything. if they're brand new they tend to be hard so washing them gets them softer. if you got them from someone there's no telling it they washed it, or what had happened to it.
