so I broke down and cried because I had to start giving my 2 week old daughter a bottle because she's been eating way more than what I could produce. it felt like I failed but at least now it seems as if she's eating enough to get full but I still give her what I can pump out!

That was cluster feeding to help you produce more for a growth spurt that
yea because now with the bottle she's drinking way more and now she seems to be full instead of being hungry every 30 mins to an hr @mookie1
Are you sure she wasn't getting enough? At 2 weeks they go through a growth spurt where they eat ALL day for cluster feeding around 2 weeks I swore I wasn't producing nothing either
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
So 2wks and 3 days into my breastfeeding journey and it's been a roller coaster of emotions and experiences....but the good news is that she's latching better but even after she eats for 15-40mins she's still hungry so I give her a bottle and she's still hungry! 😔 what am I doing wrong?!
Could the fact that I only eat two meals a day, everyday be the reason why I'm not producing enough breastmilk ? I need to give my baby formula after feedings because she's still hungry 😔😩 The most I can pump now is 3 oz total & she drinks 4-5oz now..
So I have question I'm 23 weeks and I thought a 9 lbs weight gain was good but now I'm re thinking it what is normal at this stage is it to much I'm stressing out I am really watching what I eat and I really don't over eat sad mommy here 😔
so my mom was telling me I should give my son baby cereal at night because at night is when he wants to eat the most. I haven't done it yet but who thinks its okay I was thinking doing it when he's two months!??
