Out of curiosity how long did your 6 weeks old sleep during the night/how long did they go between feedings??

Yea it's frustrating! He is gaining weight like crazy. Each time I have gone in he has been super ahead in weight so that's good =D @mxvii.980

Yea I used to do 3 ounces if feeding n with bottle but 3.5 to 4 he seems definitely more content with. I just feel bad because he has really bad vomiting issues and he is on meds for it so the pediatrician said I can't give him extra /: @mxvii.980

yeah my baby is really small as well he was a 6lb baby and one dr had told me that 4 ounces was a little too much as well but another pediatric told me that it was perfectly fine if he was still hungry & Aha yeah my baby too he likes staring at the ceiling alot Lol

@mxvii.980, The Dr told me he is supposed to be having 2.5 to 4 ounces at this age so he is right on with feedings especially since he is a very small baby. He is up most of the day very alert and just stares at things for hours. =D

Try keeping him up during the day for atleast 2 hours momma, i keep my baby up for 2 hours and thats how he started to sleep more and hes also more active , My baby is gonna be 2 months on the 25th, and hes been taking 4 ounces since he turned 5 weeks and now hes starting to take about 5 ounces . i formula feed my baby, but i know that babys are suppose to drink more when they are breastfeed arent they? maybe he wakes up every 2 hours because he doesnt get full momma

I breast feed exclusively but the couple bottles of milk he has taken so far he drink 3 to 4 ounces @mxvii.980

yeah my baby wakes up every 2 hours when he wakes up grumpy Lol and when hes happy he sleeps alot , how much are you feeding your baby?

Okay cool. last 2 nights he slept 6 hours straight! =O but during the day he feeds every 2 hours so still doing his 8 feedings at least a day @mxvii.980

My baby at 6 weeks started sleeping throughout the whole night and would feed every 4 hours between naps, sometimes he would wake up every 2 hours to feed but other times its 4 hours😌
