Question! My baby is 15 days old and her umbilical cord was having some discharge so I took her to the doctor and she said that there was a mild infection so she was given an antibiotic shot. Just not when I was cleaning it up the stump fell off and inside it looks like there is un healed flesh is this normal? Please help. I can post a picture of it helps.
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
Dad's FB Video!! Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
FTM problems... So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It's making me sad. Like I wish I could quit my job and be home with her.

It's fine. my daughter's belly button looked fresh inside, but it went away on 3 days. I just kept the area clean and dry.

My son's just fell off and his looked like that for a couple days. It just now looks better. It will keep drying up.

I was worried about it too hoping it didn't fall off too soon or get bumped off from holding him but it seems to be ok. It did have a tiny bit of goo like stuff on his onesie but that just stopped today actually. He didn't have any infection though.
