have any mommies seen the video of a woman breast feeding in target and some man was calling her a whore and disgusting and yelling at her ? but a bunch of employees and even a couple shoppers came to her defense ! people like that man make me sick but I literally was crying watching it bc of how many strangers stood up for her and her right to feed her child wherever. #normalizebreastfeeding

I just had my son 5 days ago and I'm really nervous about breastfeeding in public. That video was so upsetting and it made me more anxious.
I bet you anything that that same man is the kind of person that goes to strip clubs on the weekend
right I went on a rant on my fb post about it bc there is nothing gross or sexual about it. we were MADE for that. BF is a beautiful natural and amazing thing. I still can't believe how immature and ignorant some people are about it. @emkasting
Leave it to a man to sexualize something like breastfeeding to the point that he has to actually yell at a woman for using her breasts for what they're INTENDED for. Smh!!

I was infuriated. he was yelling at her to do it somewhere else and saying how disgusting she is and everything. it was insane. like 5 employees made a wall between the man and her bc he was trying to get in her face while she was sitting at a table feeding her child. she started crying bc she felt so supported with everyone defending her. I couldn't believe it. if I ever saw that happen to a woman I definitely would stand up for her. things like that can discourage a new mom and make her give up BF and that's bull shit ! @emkasting
I never saw that video but wow if I ever saw someone verbally assaulting a woman for feeding her child I would flip shit
see this is what I'm talking about ! that's not okay for women to feel that way. I really hope you have some good support from your friends and family and the baby's father. breastfeeding is wonderful and natural. just think of how much it benefits you and your baby. it helps you shed the pounds quick and its amazing bonding with your son as well as all the wonderful nutrients he's getting from you. I encourage you to stick with it. don't let anyone change your mind. that's a decision for you to make on your own not bc of other peoples opinions. and there are sooo many of us mamas on here that are here for you to talk to ! we all have each others backs.
