Okay this may be a dumb question. My daughter is nine so I feel like I'm starting over. I struggled to breastfeed her, this time around I really want to! However, I'm trying to get things I need for baby now since my maternity leave will be unpaid. Did anyone buy formula just in case? I'd hate to not be able to breastfeed and not have any on hand... But it's expensive to buy and not use. Thoughts?

I was given some at the hospital and I took them home becuase I was having a hard time as well. So when you deliver, just let them know that you want to do both and they will give you some.

If you sign up for enfamil checks, or similac they send you free samples and that would be plenty for you t get started with if you have any troubles.

I ordered a breast pump through my insurance. I guess I'm just worried I won't produce enough this time like with my last.

just buy one container that way if u end up needing it u have it and can get more but if u dont use it then u can give it away to someone who needs it

Yeah you can always say you're doing both and they will give you formula on wic and a pump 😊
