baby Quen is doing so well. he has eaten more today than the past two. his blood sugar is up and they are weaning him off the iv. he was awake, alert and very active. he still might have to stay a week because of some cultures they are waiting for the results. but he is sooo much better.

as for the breastfeeding part. before i was actually able to breastfeed him, i was pumping and it hurt. i couldnt produce an ounce. but after i actually fed him breastfeeding style, i was producing so much i filled a 35 cc bottle and was squirting all over the hospital bed. so everything is getting so much better.
