I’m so happy I’m done breastfeeding. It was so much work and causing unneeded stress that when I stopped, I felt so much better. I could bond with my daughter with a bottle as well, I hate how they push breastfeeding in the hospital cause sometimes it’s not always best. 🤷🏻♀️🙅🏻
@alyssa_hoffmaster my daughter won't take the bottle at all no matter who gives it to her. And she has a cows breastmilk allergy so its been a rough journey. Keep pumping and try a syringe. Message me if you ever need support. I know how frustrating it is. Trust.
I stopped breastfeeding at 2 months no reason i just did not want to do it anymore. 🤷🏼♀️
I’m breastfeeding and she is about to be 2 months and I am hating it. I’m stressed like you and don’t get anything done but she refuses a bottle! She won’t drink it no matter if it’s straight up breast milk or formula. I’m getting so upset about it. I don’t know what to do anymore 😩
@scx327 i mean sure. There's a good amount of people who did both on here.
@gallofamily.6, exactly. I’m glad people agree with me since it’s such a touchy subject for people.
@scx327 no problem. I have been there. Sometimes it just effects different people in different ways.
@jskidsmom, and not everyone will agree with you.... so you’re saying i stopped due to inconvenience? You’re set in your ways and like I said I’m glad you’re still breastfeeding, kudos to you for making it this far.
@mommy.of.two, @nk2510, thank you guys so much, I really appreciate it. People just don’t understand, and I’m glad you guys had my back 💜
@scx327 who says I don't go through struggles. I went through struggles with all 3 of my girls. I'm still struggling with this baby. The only part I disagree is that you said breastmilk isn't always best. Breast is best for the baby but not convenient to some mothers.
@gallofamily.6, thank you so much, I was happy when I stopped, the stress just lifted from my shoulders. If I wasn’t feeding her, I’d be pumping and I wasn’t making enough because of me not eating and the stress it was so bad. Thank you for sticking up for me 💜
@mommiesaremagical14, thank you so much for sticking up for me lol I made this post then I forgot about it 😭 but thank you, it was so hard for me it was horrible. I tried my hardest but it got to the point where I barely took care of myself and stopped eating because I was too focused on her. On top of me being in and out of the ER, this made me feel worse. It was hard stopping cause I actually did want to but when I realized I could formula feed and STILL get that bond, that’s when I knew what i had to do ☺️ and I had those same struggles too! It’s hard to get people to understand us cause they’re so set in their ways, glad it works for some but it doesn’t for most :)
@jskidsmom, you have your opinions and I have mine. I also had my struggles and good thing you didn’t go through any of those. As long as the babies getting the nutrients then it shouldn’t matter. Too bad you disagree.
@nk2510 its not ignorance its facts. Just saying. And no i don't formula shame i just stating the obvious facts.
I couldn't BF I tried for 3 months then exclusively formula fed. I did both the first few months then stopped because it was stressful and exhausting. It consumed my whole day. Every feeding I tried breast then topped off with formula because she only got a little bit before I ran dry. Then I'd go try to pump and barely get anything. By the time I finished trying to pump it was time to feed again and I'd repeat the above over and over. Even though I knew she was getting some breast milk I had to stop and exclusively formula feed. The fact that you made it 4 months regardless of the stress is awesome!!!
Cuddos to you for making it 4months breastfeeding cuz some people don't even try. But I stand by what I said.
@jskidsmom your comment was still unnecessary. She chose something there was no need to try to prove her wrong. She is doing what's best for her. Breastfeeding isn't for everyone.
Wow sometimes ignorance is just oblivious to some people and the comments they make. I agree with @gallofamily.6. There are plenty of pictures and actual research by MDs to prove the benefits of formula as well hun.
@gallofamily.6 I'm not bashing her I'm just saying breastfeeding is the best and that is all. If I wanted to bash her I would say some mean things.
@jskidsmom don't bash her because she isn't like you. I bf my daughter til she was a year so ya I'm pro breastfeeding but if formula is better for her to cause less stress and make her bond with her baby yes it is best for her.
If you were that stressed from bf. Then I'm glad you stopped. #fedisbest
