My baby drinks ready to feed similac bottles if I don't have the breast milk at the moment but I think the formula is heavy for her stomach because she farts and poops heavy all the time. I asked her nurses but they say it's normal but I don't know. I want to try enfamil because doesn't look as heavy as similac but I don't know if switching will hurt her even more. Or if I'm just over thinking it. What would y'all do?
similac is the only formula that is the closet to breast milk. It's normal for New borns to have gas all the time.
They did, but as my pediatrician told me, the first 8-12 weeks are like the 4th trimester and almost all babies have the fussing, crying, screaming, up-all-night gassy pooping issues. I swore up and down both my guys had colic and croup and reflux and everything else 😂😂😂. In the end, Dr. Brown's bottles were doctor recommended and worked well...although a pain to clean. Try to stay calm and patient...It'll pass and you'll barely remember it--Cause you will be so tired. 😂😂😂
Enfamil gentleease worked great for my daughter. Similac is too heavy and Enfamil is thinner. My daughter was so constipated with Similac and right away with Enfamil she was doing great. Or you can also try Similac total comfort.
