can someone explain to me exactly what co-sleeping is? I'm guessing it obviously means the baby sleeps in your room but where? I definitely want to have my little girl sleeping in my room for a while, anyone help?
I personally wouldnt do a swing. Get a sleeper rocker its like a bassenet but will last up to 12 months even though you shouldnt let them sleep in it past the time they start rolling over. A swing isnt recomended for sleeping at night and the rocker is safer since its mesh sides and plastic seat built in under the padding.
thank you ladies so much! I definitely plan to breast feed, so she'll have either a bassinet or swing to sleep in in our room
I have a sleeper rocker for my son to sleep in for the first few months. It has mesh sides which was a big deal for me since I dont want him to turn his head and suffocate. I dont have room for a crib so we are using a pack and play with a mattress in it after he out grows the rocker. I just want him next to me so I can grab him up and breast feed without havin to get up and waking my fiance for the first few months.
I found it easier breast feeding and him in the room. But of course me being me I did have him sleep on my chest in bed with me every so often. Now he sleeps in his rock on play or swing.
Yes! I put my son in his room every so often so he's familiar with it of course
thank you ladies I figured but I heard ppl talking about co sleeping furniture I guess they just meant a bassinet? I'll def be having ours in the room for her to sleep in my bf is 320lbs so I'd never risk her sleeping w us. he's 6'3 and just a big guy.. (not fat) lol but definitely at least while breast feeding
Just in the same room or bed. I have a little bassinet made to keep in the bed with you so they aren't in any danger. But usually he sleeps in his pack and play next to the bed!
It could be as simple as your bedside or even in the bed with you.

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
Call me a big baby... but I HAVE to sleep with a night light in my room 🤷🏻😆
Well sleeping in the spare room on the hardwood floor because the husband and I are fighting will probably destroy my back, but I can't sleep downstairs on the couch because my son still wakes in the middle of the night... hoping I can get at least a couple hours of comfortable sleep 😕
Opinions please!!!
My son sleeps in his crib in my room. He wakes up once or twice a night. I want to move him out of our room but we only have a two bedroom and he would have to share a room with my daughter, but my husband doesn’t think it’s a good idea to put him in her room until he sleeps all night without waking up.
yeah I was thinking something still because that might make her dizzy to be swinging that long. I found a bassinet at wal mart so I guess I'll just get that
