I was in labor(preterm) for 3 days already when they decided to induce me due to preclamscia. took 15 hrs before she was born. wish they induced me sooner then I could've done drug free

I don't think you'd want to hear my experience. But there many mamas that have wonderful stories about being induced. I do know that the contraction pain weren't that bad.

Mine went smooth and easy! Not exactly quickly (7am to 9pm) but overall a great experience.

I won't share mine because its a bad one. but two of my friends had great experiences. quick and easy

I have to say its not as bad as everyone puts it out to be. My induction went good but there were some scares. I couldn't stand those belt things they out on you to monitor baby and they werent picking up contractions even though I felt them plain as day! I ended up having to get the internal montiors put in and a catheter but that was seriously the worst part of it all. To be honest the only thing I HATED about induction was when they would come in to check my cervix because that hurt so bad!

@alyssabrittany, it's not really all that bad. Everyone says being induced makes the contractions and stuff so much harsher and worse. But since this is ur first baby u have nothing to compare it to. I was induced to when I had my first baby back in April. And I ain't gonna lie it hurt and was painful but it was bearable and once I got the epidural I didn't even feel my contractions at all. Pushing and the after birth hurt quite a bit tho but once ur baby is here u will forget all about it. Oh and when my dr broke my water it was the weirdest freaking feeling so be prepared for that. It didn't hurt at all it just felt crazy weird. Lol. If u have any questions message me and I will help u as much as I can.

it just depends!!! I've been induced with everyone of my kids and all went good.

It's not bad, I loved it actually with my first and am being induced on the 22 of this month with my 2nd.
