6 pp is recommended and you should wait like @mypreemieprincess said you can get infections, or cause other problems.

it can cause severe infections. your uterus isn't fully healed so its basically an open internal wound. plus it's the most fertile time.

reason i ask is because now im kinda worried my hubby and i couldn't wait so ended up having sex at 3 weeks after 😳 i feel fine but ive read several things and i dont see doctor until later on this month 😒

after your 6 week pp appointment OR whenever doctor clears you. never before.

I think 6 weeks is the usual. At least with c-sections. Maybe regular is a little less? Definitely wait until you are done bleeding

when your doctor says it's ok and your healed every one is different
