Iv just had my first health visitor come see me and she gave me a red book . Do I need to take this book into hospital with me when I go into labour ??

if u take it in to hospital after baby is born they write everything in about baby... I didn't get one straight away with my second, and had bits of paper everywhere... I'm taking mine ;) xx

I didn't get mine until the health visitor did her first checks on both of my two so I doubt you need to take it into hospital with you. It's to keep track of babies weight, height, injections and so on x

I was given mine at the hospitals so I'd say yes take it as they will add babies measurements etc X

@stacey804, it's got stuff about baby's weight and height in it , Iv not fully looked in it yet I don't know what im meant to be doing with it
