anyone significantly overweight? just curious what you may be doing to avoid gaining too much without jeopardizing your jellybean?
I should add that I am way overweight...so this is just to see what others may find successful. I know that weight gain is important to grow a healthy baby
@karmasmomma5409, so I'm not totally that big (got some weight I could lose) but by my bmi I'm "obese" (that's a joke though) anyways, I just tried to eat healthier and drink lots more water. also eat smaller snacks and meals throughout the day instead of the "normal" 3 big meals a day. I did lose some weight at the beginning of my pregnancy. my doctor's were never too concerned either. I think I only gained 10 or 15 pounds maybe through my pregnancy.
I started out at 260...and I have lost 30 pounds as of now in my pregnancy, and my midwives are actually pleased that I'm losing weight...the baby is growing perfectly and I'm getting a better diet and more water...no sodas...so it's all working out as it should.
thanks ladies! I am adding more water and trying to cut out soda. it's kind of my weakness sadly but I can live without!!!
