Ok, so Im not new to breastfeeding but I am new to this. I have a pain only in my left upper boob, like a shooting pain that comes and goes. It hurts pretty bad. I tried googling and nothing....any moms have an idea?

it only lasts a few seconds maybe for me though so I can deal, I just have to clutch my chest like I'm having a hearty attack lol

It could be letdown or your milk filling back up. Happens to me all the time while im nursing or when it's been almost 2-3 hrs. Super painful for a couple seconds.
Yeah it did pass. Now it doesn't happen hardly ever
If it isn't lumpy and you have no problem getting the milk out no blisters cracks or anything I wouldn't let it worry you too much then! Contact a LC on the phone and they can probably reassure you!!
Oh yes, I know what let down is. lol I get that too often, I have an overstock of milk supply. Its not my nipple area tho. @mommasaurus 😢😢
It's probably a let down. Your boobs kinda get thing pring stingy feeling in the nipples and around your boob at least mine so when I let down

Maybe nothing then. I got those pains sometimes, also when my boobs were empty. I was always worried it was mastitis but it never was. I would just watch and make sure you watch for signs of mastitis
No. My boobs are empty now from nursing and it's coming in going while my boob is empty and saggy. lol sorry if tmi. @santistevanmommie
Could be mastitis or a clogged duct. Does it feel hard around where the pain starts?
