For the mommas that bounced on a yoga ball before giving birth, did it help any? So far today I walked 1/4 of a mile, and bounced on a ball for 10 minutes. The only reason I had to stop bouncing was because I had some stuff to do.
Anyways, anyone have some advice as to how to induce labor? My doctor wants me to walk, do squats, and bounce on a ball because she wants this baby to come soon. She doesn't want him to go full term because she thinks it will put me in danger. He is perfectly healthy and weighs enough to be safe if birthed soon. So any advice?
Although I will agree with @waylonsmommy252 that it's very true that unless the baby is ready, home induction methods will do nothing
I tried everything to induce labor naturally..literally everything. I ended up being induced w a c section at 42 weeks
Your 36 weeks give your baby time to develop... If doctor is really concerned about the baby coming out because she's afraid it will put you in danger she will induce you instead of having you do it yourself.. Doctors know very well that there is no sure fire way to induce your labor by yourself there are wives tales and things that people attribute to causing their labor but you will NOT go into labor unless you are given poticin or your body is ready and baby is ready.. Let the baby cool and develop I know it's hard to wait but your day is coming and if the doctor feels you're in danger she will induce you
The day I went into labor with my daughter I walked a mile and had sex that night she came 5 weeks early and wasn't prepared for her to come so early! But I am also a massage therapist and there are some pressure points u Dee your heal that can induce labor get your fiancé to rub your feet
That's all me and my fiancé have done the past few days. More than once or twice lol. @davisboys @southernmommy3916
I'm already dilating, and losing my mucus plug. The contractions are increasing daily since she dilated me to 1cm.
