did everyone hear about the boy who fell into the gorillas habitat at the zoo? I'm sorry but the whole situation has me mad. a gorilla was shot for watching a child better than the mother was. that's my opinion. WATCH. YOUR. CHILDREN.
the gorilla panicked and thought the kid was in danger because everyone was yelling. in the video you see him even stand the kid up and pull him close trying to make sure he feels safe. gorillas are rough with their young, he was treating the kid like his own. hes also a breeder gorilla to help save the species. They killed a father doing what he does best, protecting young. it could have been handled so much better. the kid didn't fall into the enclosure, he wanted in. there are a bunch of witnesses saying they heard the kid saying he was gonna go swim with the gorillas.. the mom knew what he wanted to do and still chose to take her eyes off him.
Lol I realized afterwards my comment was seeming like I thought you were but I was just adding to what you were saying since I did also see the unedited video too. and right. @tiffanyxomarie1
It's ok @graciesmama I just didn't want anyone pissed at me thinking I blamed him 😂 I live about 2 hours from that zoo. It's really a messed up situation, if she was watching him the whole thing could of been prevented!
I know you weren't, Lol sorry if it seemed that way @tiffanyxomarie1 I'm just so mad about it.
it is common sense to watch your child and they even make child leashes. not to substitute watching your kid
@jadestarlight, Lol yes exactly !!! don't go to the zoo if you aren't responsible enough to watch your child.
the child went to the hospital not even in critical condition, and the mother of the child I read had no more statements regarding the situation other than the child being fine. @mjmommy smh
he was four. wtf. she didn't know where her four year old was. that's the kind of bitch they make commercials about telling you to put your phone near your baby so you don't leave them in the car.
I read what all consist of the barricade in between, and from the time it would have taken the child to get thru it, he could have been caught beforehand. shitty parents. that gorilla didn't know what to do. @jadestarlight and yeah they might be designed to keep the animals in, but its just common sense to watch your child.
they should of tranquilized the gorilla. and smacked whoever was responsible for him. some of those zoo barricades are really easy to get over. ridiculously easy to get over. the barricades are more designed to keep animals in not people out.
he was simply protecting the child like he would have his young, gorillas aren't taught in ways to protect humans like they "should" hence the barriers between animal and human life.
animals protect their young differently than humans do. he was in no way harming the child because if he intented too he would have from the beginning. I watched that video like I mentioned in a before comment. it isn't the gorillas fault for having a small child "fall" into his habitat. @tiffanyxomarie1
exactly. if you aren't responsible enough to watch your child at the zoo, with multiple different wild animals, why are you there?! how does your child get past a barrier that's supposed to be there to keep humans apart from the animals? poor gorilla, she needs to be looked into for child negligence in my opinion. @mommy2b2addysen
While I do disagree with killing him and blame the mom for not watching her child, if you watch the unedited video taken by someone at the zoo, not the edited version the news is posting, the gorilla drags the small boy around the moat by his legs 3 times! No I'm not saying he was going to hurt him, but that's not completely "safe" or protecting the child as the other videos make it seem. He shouldn't of been killed though, plain and simple. They make tranq guns for a reason, the boy was already in there with him at the time they killed him for 20 minutes, if he hadn't killed him or even seriously harmed him by then, I doubt he was going to and they could of waited for the tranquilizer to kick in and saved BOTH lives!
Your right @graciesmama maybe they could've just tranquilized him instead of killing him but idk I'm not a animal expert at all!!
This whole situation pisses me off. I'm definitely sympathetic for animals. They shouldn't have killed the gorilla. They should've tranqed it if possible. However the main issue still stands. What kind of parents aren't watching their kid at the zoo? It's not even just about falling into exhibits like this one. The child could be taken by some creep. People please. Watch your children. Please.
That made me more mad, hearing her say Mommy's right here 😡 I had the same thought as you! This was completely preventable if she were being the parent she was supposed to be@graciesmama
yeah she was calm, way calmer than I would have been. but then again my child wouldn't be unsupervised to the point that it crosses a barrier into a gorillas domain. its just so ridiculous. @msvanessa27
just sad i heard her kept yelling mommy's right here but she was so calm about it
not to mention the mother kept saying, "mommy's right here" well where the hell were you BEFORE the child "fell"?
exactly. that gorilla was doing no harm to the child, I did see one video where it dragged the child thru the water in a protective instinct, not out of harm. Animals protect their young in a different way, but yet similar way we do. if the gorilla wanted to harm him, he would have done so in the first few minutes he was in there. and I read she didn't even know her child was in there, until their was commotion. how do u not know where your child is? a lack of parenting. @bellahali @canaryv @mommy2b2addysen
I heard about it and I'm so pissed that they killed the poor gorilla. I'm sorry but I don't care about hearing the "mom" screaming to her kid while he was in there. Like no, if you really were there, your child would have never made it into the damn exhibit! Supposedly the gorilla tossed the child around, well then prove it. I only saw the gorilla looking over the child and then had the child shielded in the corner.
The mom was so calm about it. I would have been screaming or probably jumped in there myself, but then again it wouldn't happen in the first place because I'll be watching my kid!
Yea I heard about that story. The one I read said the gorilla wasn't hurting the child but removing him from the Deep water but im not totally sure. Why wasn't the parents watching their child??
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...

Y’all please please be careful and monitor what these babies are watching on YouTube thank god my baby didn’t understand what the thing was saying he showed me the phone and said “scary mama” I think continued to listen to what the thing was saying and I was livid and horrified it was explaining to my son how to kill the whole family while everyone was asleep

Because I can't sit here and watch Bolt for the 8,000th time, let's take a trip down memory lane!
So someone contacted me waiting me to watch her son four days a week for $150/wk. I had to tell her that even if someone worked for $10/hr it only pays for a day and a half in my opinion?
I mean maybe I’d do it for $300? But the $150 I just can’t see if being worth it to me
that's what I basically said in before comments.. lol @mrsdoyle
